Carissa Webster-Lake, MD, RPVI has joined Trinity Health Of New
England as a Vascular Surgeon at Saint Francis Hospital.

Dr. Webster-Lake obtained her medical degree in 2010 from Boston
University School of Medicine. She completed General Surgery
Residency in 2015 and Vascular Surgery Fellowship in 2017 both at
UConn Health. She is board certified in General and Vascular Surgery
and is a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation.

She comes to Trinity Health from the University of Tennessee Health
Sciences Center where she served as Assistant Professor of Surgery
in the Department of Vascular Surgery, the inaugural Diversity Officer
for the Department of Surgery and as a member of the clinical
competency committee.

Prior to that, she worked at Hartford Healthcare as a Vascular Surgeon
and core faculty for the Vascular Surgery Fellowship. In 2019, she
was awarded the AD Drezner MD/Ph.D. Faculty teaching award which
was given by the graduating fellow to the faculty believed to have
contributed most to their education.

Dr. Webster-Lake is an associate fellow of the American College of
Surgeons, candidate member of the Society of Vascular Surgeons and
a member of the Society of Vascular Ultrasound.
