Southern New England Healthcare Organization is now SoNE HEALTH
Name change and reinvigorated mission, vision reflect commitment to patients
HARTFORD, Conn. – Southern New England Healthcare Organization, the premier population health organization in the Northeast formerly referred to as SOHO HEALTH, has changed its name to become SoNE HEALTH. This extends a period of growth for the organization, which recently implemented a new strategic plan, including reimagined mission, vision and value statements, to align with that plan.
“This is an exciting time for our organization,” said, SoNE HEALH President and CEO, Lisa Trumble. “Our vision is to be Southern New England’s premier population health organization dedicated to optimizing the health of patients, populations and communities that entrust us with their care. Together with our provider and hospital partners, SoNE HEALTH will optimize the health of our patients and communities.”
Founded in 1990, SoNE HEALTH has enjoyed a steady trajectory of growth since its beginnings, expanding both its network of providers and practices, further strengthening SoNE HEALTH’s position as southern New England’s unparalleled value-based healthcare organization. A clinically integrated network with a focus on population health, SoNE HEALTH is a collaboration between more than 1,700 primary and specialty care providers in Connecticut and western Massachusetts, including the physician and hospital partners of Trinity Health Of New England, independent community physicians, 200,000 covered lives and a managed total cost of care of approximately $6 billion.
